As part of a wider series, 'Human Stories: Another England' opened on the 10th of October at Now Gallery on Greenwich Peninsula.

The project is a photographic exhibition surveying historical and contemporary narratives in Black and Asian Heritage in England, in partnership with Historic England.

Our studio was invited to re-visit last year’s design and expand to the largest photography exhibition that the gallery ever held. Over 130 works, between photography, video and ephemera were displayed side by side in sections that will give an insight into origins of diasporic migration, religion, home and working life, as well as unpicking embedded racism that many were exposed to in the last century.

The central core of the exhibition is a series of new commissions by Now Gallery to contemporary photographers such as Nina Manandhar, Sarah Maple, Theo White, Ruth Ossai and Saint Lovie in collaboration with Adama Jalloh.
