Our third pop-up space for Stock X*, the Stock X Drop-Off, is a physical space where you can hand over items sold online and accelerate the authentication and payout process without having to print, box and ship yourself.

Our main aim for the modest 36 square metre site was to expand its dimensions visually! As an online marketplace that trades sneakers and clothing apparel as luxury items, we wanted to reinforce their existence in the virtual realm.

Our concept 'from the street to the gallery' used mirrors to reflect the surroundings and elevate the sneakers and other apparel. They are displayed as precious objects, visually linking their roles in cultural phenomena.

The bespoke ceiling light comprises one-quarter of the brand's "X", using mirrors to show the logo fully, a discreet intervention that gains presence when illuminated and glimpsed through the window from outside.

To differentiate Stock X from a standard retail space, we colour-blocked using their brand colours, intentionally keeping the room bare and added central plinths to display some of the highest-value items as art objects. These expandable foam plinths are lightweight and reusable for future pop-ups.
