From Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and John Polidori's Vampire, Le Retour des Ténèbres presented two hundred years of artistic dread.
Conceptually, we designed the space using horror movie-style tricks to emphasise the architecture of horror.
We created long corridors and exaggerated the perspectives of both walls and case displays. We added sudden changes in lighting and mood, controlling the exhibition views and providing a solid backdrop to this content-varied exhibition.
