This project was the design and build of a 125 sq. meters office for a PR & Marketing agency based in Bristol.
The brief for this project was to create a working space for the Bristol-based marketing agency - Wonderland Communications - that embodied their brand and promoted a culture of participation and engagement.
They are a dynamic team of young, talented PR specialists - bold, straight-talking, and natural problem-solvers—working with an impressive roster of clients including Heinz, Chilly’s, and Brabantia.
Within the 150 sq m space, we carefully structured a layout that supports both collaboration and focus. The design includes a generous open-plan workspace - flexible and adaptable through the use of a dividing curtain - alongside an integrated kitchen area. A private meeting room provides space for more focused discussions, complemented by two WC facilities (one fully accessible) and two dedicated storage areas.
Set within an empty unit overlooking Bristol Harbour, the design approach centred on creating a welcoming, light-filled environment. We prioritised openness and flow, using soft, curved forms to encourage movement and collaboration while maximising natural daylight throughout.
Colour was used with intention: vibrant tones were reserved for circulation routes and idea-generating zones, while the primary working areas were kept purposefully minimal to support concentration and clarity.
